Dear Heavenly Father

Lord Jesus, we thank you for your amazing love that does not want anyone to be lost. Lord, we thank you for constantly reminding us through your Word to be alert and ready for your coming. As individuals we want to seek you more and more. Help us O Lord, to remain faithful to you so that our children have a beautiful example of godly parents in us.  We pray for our immediate and the extended family that all lead a righteous life and prepare for your second coming.

In a special way we pray for the Church that she prepares herself for your 2nd coming and always remain ready for your coming. We pray that all Christians take this seriously, prepare themselves and wait in joyful anticipation. Lord, in these challenging times, we pray that the church remains faithful to you and continues to lead all to you for salvation. Lord, we place this intention before your merciful throne. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father

As your Word in Roman 12:2 – says - "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and perfect”.

As we are in the Holy season of Lent you want us to renew our mind our heart and grow in holiness.

We ask You, dear Jesus, to give us the strength to resist all evils that may come our way. We want to join You in Your Kingdom in Heaven where no one with traces of sin will enter. Dear Jesus, purify our hearts so that we may resist the temptations of the evil one who dislikes seeing us loving, serving and praising You.

Father as we walk with you in this Holy season of Lent you want us to renew our mind our heart for our redemption, you gave your only-begotten Son to die on the Cross, and by his glorious resurrection, we have been delivered from the power of our enemy: Grant us so to die daily to sin, that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his resurrection.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life and the blessing of the Mary Immaculate Praise Community to each one of us. Your hand of protection and blessing has been over us for the past 42 years, we thank you for all the past members who laid the foundation and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit worked with great zeal and fervor to build this community from a few members to what we are today. We thank you for using our community members around the world, truly our community and its members are the Light of this world and Salt of the earth.

 As your Word says that You O Lord Are Faithful to complete the good work that You have begun in our lives, and we believe that Our Community is going to grow from Strength to Strength empowered by your Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ who came into this world to save us and give us eternal life. As we prepare for His second coming in power and glory, enable us to become the person You want us to be.

Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, so that we strive hard to draw closer to you, as Hebrews 12:14 says “Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord”.  Fill me with Your love, so that we might be motivated and empowered by Your Spirit. Help us to walk by the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh.

Enable us by Your Spirit to help others come to repentance and faith in You, so that they too might be ready for Your coming in glory. In Jesus Mighty Name we pray. AMEN

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for your faithfulness and loving mercies to us. We thank you for our new theme- that we must prepare our heart and home for your second coming. Help us Lord to not only be hearers but doers of your Word and to put it into practice. Your word in John 15:5 Jesus says -- I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.

Help us Lord to abide in you, by investing our time to read your Word, meditate on it and to listen to your voice. So that we walk in holiness and be ready for the second coming of Christ.  We make this prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.

Speak to us what you hear from the Father and declare to us what is to come.  Lord, as we pray for guidance to seek for the Theme for the community, direct our path and as we sit, pray, meditate and reveal to us your plans that we can clearly listen to your voice.

We thank you for the gift of self control which you have blessed each one  of us with. Your Word commands us to Walk by the Spirit and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.  Help us Lord, to be mindful at all times that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit so we should honor you with all our senses. Help us to have self control in thought, word and deed.  Help us to be disciplined in reading your Word daily, and be consistent in spending time with your everyday in personal prayer , above all  help us to guard our hearts for from it flows the issues of Life and to always walk in love for love covers a multitude of sin . May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart be pleasing to you O Lord our God.

Lord Jesus, we thank you for this life you have blessed us with, and we yearn to spend all eternity with you, your word in Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." By your death and resurrection, You have conquered hell and death. You have established your power over them, and have opened the way to eternal joy, with you.

Lord Jesus I desire to live with you forever, I just want to be where you are, and I pray that you help me to draw closer to you each day through the intimate time I spend with you. Give me the grace to serve you Lord till the very end.

Abba Father, we thank you for Your Word which is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Thank You, Lord, that You desire to transform all Your children into the image and likeness of our Lord Jesus.

We pray that we seek you daily in prayer. As Jeremiah 29:12-13 says, “Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart.”

Help us Lord to develop an attitude of obedience, faithfulness, and an increasing trust in your Word. We pray that we may live out our theme and truly make your Word our home so that our lives are holy and bear lasting fruit.

Loving and gracious Father, thank you for planting the seed of joy in my heart. Help me to grow in your ways. Help me to know that my faith, knowledge, and love will only grow if we are rooted in your love.

Your Word says in John 15:5 - I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing. Grow me Lord so that I bear fruit to share and help others. I know that I can do nothing unless it is with your help and support.

Abba Father, we pray that as we abide in you, we ask that we would bear fruit through you, that you would make us good faithful, loving brothers and sisters, husbands, wives, moms, dads, neighbours, friends, family members.

Help us to lead people  with the spirit of love to come to know you , love you and serve you.

We thank you for the precious blood of Jesus that washes us whiter than the snow.  Fill us today with the Holy reverential fear of the Lord and an intense love for you O Lord so that we may not sin against you.  May love for you motivate us not to sin rather than fear of punishment.  May your perfect love cast out all fear and may we never let condemnation or shame rule us.

Your Word in 2 Corinthians 7 :10 says that “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”

Help us to be truly sorry for our sins and have Godly sorrow which brings Godly repentance and freedom from sin.

Dear Lord Jesus, as your word says in John 15:2 Prune me so I will bear more fruit. Help me to abide in Christ, because I cannot produce fruit on my own. Help me to walk by the Spirit so I will not carry out the desires of the flesh. I thank you Lord Jesus, because of You, I have crucified the flesh with its passion and desires.

 Give me self-control rather than anger or jealousy, give me peace instead of strife, Give me kindness, goodness, patience, gentleness rather than disputes, disunity or divisions.

O Glorious and Blessed Virgin Mary, you are called the Mediatrix of all Graces. We thank you for being the mediator in the salvific redemption by Our Lord Jesus Christ of the human race and therefore so many graces are bestowed on us through you.

We ask that through your intercession, we too may be drawn to the heart of Jesus- to pray for sinners and make reparation and sacrifices for lost souls.

We pray that we may have a servant’s heart like yours to stand in the gap and make intercession a priority, because that is the need of the hour.

Abba Father, we pray for the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit to make us effective intercessors so that we may always pray according to your Holy Will.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Our Blessed Mother was a perfect example of purity and holiness. We pray that  we too  may desire  and live  a holy life.  The Word of God in Hebrews 12:14 says to “Make every effort to live in peace and to be holy, without holiness no one will see the Lord’’ and again in Romans 12 : 1  it says “In view of God’s mercy, offer your bodies as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing to God -This is your true and proper worship “

Help us dear Lord to realize that our bodies are your holy temple - We have been bought at a price which is the precious blood of Jesus - so help us to honor you at all times- in thought, word and deed. May all we do give you glory and honour and may we never grow weary of doing good for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Help us to have your Word as our standard of holiness and never to compromise the values of the gospel in our daily life but rather to uphold them at all times.

Father God we thank you for the gift of Mama Mary to us all, as our Mother. Your Word declares in John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Father God we ask you that the Word become flesh in our lives too, so that we become more and more like your Son Jesus day by day, through the daily renewal of our mind just like Mama Mary did.

Abba Father, the secret of fruitfulness is to abide in You and to remain in You, and to let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly. Lord, we pray that we would abide in You and grow in grace and mature in the faith, by knowing Jesus more and more intimately. We pray that by the power of Your Holy Spirit working within us, we may live a fruitful life.

Give us a willing heart, a teachable spirit, listening ears and a watching heart, so that we may come to know and love You more and more with each passing day.

Thank You Lord, that You have promised to finish the good work that You have started in us and we pray that we will be open to hear Your voice and ready to submit to Your will.

Holy Spirit make our lives fruitful, that we may abide in You daily and bear much fruit so that through The Word, Your name may be glorified in us.

We thank You Father for our salvation in Christ Jesus, the mystery of our faith. “We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until You come again”.

 Your word in 1 Corinthians: Chapter 11: 26 - For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He come again.

 As one family, the oblation by which we celebrate the Body of Christ, the Church gathered here and now stand united with Christ in the Holy Spirit in His self-offering to the Father. In doing so, we also learn to offer our very selves, we thank You for Your blood that unites us and thus day by day to be brought into unity with God and with each other.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In a few days we will be celebrating our country -India’s 75th Independence Day. We pray that a spirit of true worship to the one true living God may arise and set the people free. We pray for integrity and wisdom for all those leading our country that they may truly have a heart for the poor and uphold the ideals of brotherhood and secularism in word and deed. Lord make us intercessor for our Motherland India.

We will also be celebrating the feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Mother- We pray that like her we may always say a YES to the Lord and even in the most difficult times we may like her believe that the Lord is faithful and HE will fulfill his promises to us. We just need to TRUST & OBEY

Finally, we pray that we strive to be imitators of Our Lady and grow in the virtues of patience, purity, humility and long suffering.

May the Joy of the Lord always be our strength!!

In Micah 6:8 You say, “O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Today we choose to walk humbly with You. We choose to live by Your Holy Spirit and to follow your ways. Help us to hear You clearly, for we do not want to walk by pride or self-sufficiency but we want to walk with You.

Lord, we welcome You to mould and secure our hearts in true humility. Help us to humble ourselves in order that we do not let the lies of the enemy overtake us. It is then that we can love and value one another in this humble spirit.

"Pray - To Forgive as Jesus Forgave"

Dear Merciful Lord,

Thank you for your gift of forgiveness. Your only Son loved me enough to come to earth and experience the worst pain imaginable so I could be forgiven. Your mercy flows to me in spite of my faults and failures. Your Word says to “clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.” (Col. 3:14) Help me demonstrate unconditional love today.

Lord, please help me to forgive those who have hurt me and have sinned against me. Through the power of your Holy Spirit, I can choose to live free of bitterness and anger over what others have done to me.

Help me to release them into your hands, and heal the wounds of my heart. Because you have forgiven me, I can make the choice to forgive others and live in peace, joy and freedom.

Dear Jesus,

You Word is a lamp to my feet and light to my path and may my steps be ordered by your Word always.

Thank you, Father, for giving us your Son our Lord Jesus – Living Word who made flesh and dwelt among us.

Lord Jesus as per your Word in John 8: 31-32 “If you continue in my Word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the Truth, and the Truth will make you free. Thank you, Jesus, that you have set us free according to your Word and now enable us to love and serve You by loving and serving our neighbor. Help us be guided by your Word in John 13: 34-35 “I give you a new commandment that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another”. Holy Spirit lead us Glorify God always as we read in Romans 8:14 “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God”.

Heavenly Father,

 We thank you for  the wonderful and life changing  Pentecost experience we had recently. Help us to grow in our vigor, zeal, enthusiasm and commitment to love and serve your Son our Lord Jesus Christ.  According to Acts 1: 8 we are all clothed with power from above to be witnesses of Christ in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth. Help us not to lag in commitment and zeal to witness for Jesus.

Lord Jesus as per your Word in Matthew 28:19, we are commissioned to go and make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey everything you have commanded us. Help us to be faithful to the call.  Thank you for your assurance that you will be with us always, till the end of the age.

We thank you for your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We pray that as we remain in your Word and be doers of the Word, Your light will shine through our lives.

Let us pray that it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us. Help us dear Lord, to be faithful, courageous and true to lead those who do not know you into your marvelous light.  By this all shall know that we are your disciples and your name be glorified to the ends of the earth.

Lord Jesus Christ, help me to see Your ways clearly and understand Your will for my life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I know that I’ve been born of the Spirit, sealed by the Spirit and am indwelt by the Holy Spirit. That is why I am asking you for a fresh work of the Spirit in my life. By the cross of Jesus I am saved. By His resurrection I live in the new life of total unconditional love. Help me to share that saving love with all those around me.Lord Jesus commanded, in Mark 16:15–16. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation. The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

Fill me, Holy Spirit, with all Your supernatural gifts. Empower me to accept and grow in the supernatural life as much as the early disciples did. I want to go where You lead me. Holy Spirit send me forth gifted and empowered to make a difference spreading the Good News of God’s forgiving love.

Come Holy Spirit, renew me. In Jesus’s name, Amen!

Heavenly Father,

Acts 2:19-20 “ Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out, so that time of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

As we repent and return to you, empower, anoint and send a fresh fire and fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon each one of us.  Fill us with your power and satisfy our needs. Help us to recognize our gifts and put them to good use to build the body of Christ.  Holy Spirit only you can make us whole, give us strength and make us grow and bear much fruit. Enable us to be your witnesses at home, in the society and the world. Teach us to speak the new language of God’s love and draw many to your Saving and Healing love and new life in Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you this day and ask that you make us intercessors after your own heart. Today more than ever prayer is the need of the hour. You have made us watchmen - help us to do our duty well - You call us to pray incessantly not just for ourselves and our families but for lost souls who do not know you. Help us Lord to put aside all worldly distractions and busyness so that we can spend more time in intercession in these end times. Our Lady of Fatima said “Many souls go to Hell because there are none to sacrifice themselves and to pray for them,”

“Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High . . . Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins ’’ “Above all, accept and bear with submission the sufferings which the Lord will send you” Heavenly Father fill us with intense love for you, so that we may make prayer, intercession and sacrifice the first priority in our lives - so that like the saints we may partner with our Lord Jesus and save many souls.

"Prayer for our Children appearing for their exams"

Heavenly Father, God of all Wisdom, we thank you our children who have prepared well through this year, you have blessed them with much knowledge and have been their strength and their portion.

We come to you on this day and ask you to enlighten the minds and hearts of our children. Let your Holy Spirit be with them as they prepare for their exams, guiding their studies, and giving them insight so that they can perform to the best of their ability.

Grant them the strength they need to handle the pressure of these final days of the term and the confidence of your word in Psalm 121:2 – My Help Comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Help them to keep in mind what is truly important, even as they focus their time and energy on these exams. May they experience your peace in knowing that it is You who will lead them and give them all success in their examinations as well as in their life journey.

We thank you for your unconditional love for each one of us. We pray that we always strive to walk in Love and humble obedience every day of our lives. Help us Abba Father, to develop an attitude of obedience to your will and an increasing trust in your Word so that You increase in us, as we decrease.

As we surrender our hearts and lives to you in true obedience and humility. We pray that you build us up into a Spiritual community growing in Love and an attitude of prayerfulness drawing closer to you and to each other as you do a good work in each of our lives.

As the Word of God in Phil 1:6 says, “I am confident of this that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.”

"Pray - Experiencing the Power of the Resurrected Lord"

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for Your Agape love You showed through Your son Lord Jesus. Lord,  I reflect on the resurrection power and the pain that You suffered and how it resulted in such a tremendous victory. You snatched it from the devil to give us the ownership as sons and daughters, it fills me with compassion with Your unconditional love, mercy that I received though I don’t deserve.

Lord, help me to understand that Your life, death and resurrection were not in vain. Every time a negative thought begins to form in my mind, help me to instead, be grateful that You suffered just for me. That You suffered so that I did not have to, so  I can give all my worries and cares to You, while at the same time, move forward and experience your victory daily, because of Your resurrection power that brings dead things to life.

I thank You Lord in advance, I will remember this as long as I live – that each day is an opportunity to recognize and claim I no longer live but Christ lives in me. Lord, I now understand that by claiming and living in Your resurrection power for my life daily, I am joyful, in Jesus name. I have all my needs met, in Jesus name. I am healthy, in Jesus name. I am made whole, in Jesus name. I am healed, delivered and set free, in Jesus name. Amen

Dear Lord Jesus,

As we draw near to Holy Week , help us to journey with you and enter into your passion by dying to ourselves and embracing the crosses in our lives. Fill us with more love for you so we are able to respond in love rather than react in anger and fear. It is only when we are filled with your passionate love that  we are able to love as you did  -  those who mocked you, beat you and degraded you and finally crucified you. Help us imitate you dear Lord Jesus  so we can say like St Paul - I am crucified with Christ , therefore I no longer live ,Jesus Christ now lives in me.

Help us to walk in the victory that you purchased for us in your precious blood. Sin has no hold over us because we are Easter people. Your Word  in 2 Corinthians 2 ;14 says -  But Thanks be to GOD who always leads us in triumph in Christ and 1 Corinthians 15 ;57 says  But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Just like the disciples could not keep the  Good News to themselves but were compelled to tell others about you - help us to live in the power of the Resurrection so that others may see you in us and be drawn to you.  In  Matthew 28 :19 you told us  “ Go and make disciples of all nations “  May we put this into practise and share our faith with as many as we can in this Easter tide and whenever we get the opportunity to do so.

Lord Jesus, you are the Prince of Peace, let your peace reign upon these nations and let your love be a source of comfort and strength as they go through this difficult time. You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of trouble, as we pray for the safety of all the citizens.

Lord Jesus, we ask for your Mercy and Compassion and seek your intervention to cease this war and pray for your peace to prevail over these nations.

Dear Lord Jesus, help us to walk with you, help us to take  up our cross and follow you. Help us to believe that you are Lord, that you are the Master, help us to model our lives after you. Lord, we give you all of our pain, all of our anxiety, all of our fear, we give it all to you and we place it all at the foot of your cross and we just ask that you would redeem it. That you would purify us , that you transform us . That we would become more united to you, both in your resurrection, but also in your cross.

Abba Father, You are a holy God and I desire to be holy too. Set apart unto You, and living my life in a manner that is worthy of You and pleasing to You. Search my heart I pray, and if there is any cherished sin lurking within, I ask that You would search it out and destroy it, for I know that only the one that has clean hands and a pure heart may stand in Your presence.

Purify my heart, cleanse my inner thoughts and examine the very motives behind my acts and attitudes, for I desire to live in holiness of heart. If there is anything that is displeasing to You in my life, I ask that in Your grace You would root it out, so that I may live in godly holiness all the days of my life, clothed in Christ’s righteousness, separated unto You and walking in godly love.

Thank You, Father, that You have called me out of darkness into Your marvellous light and set me free from slavery to sin and released me from bondage of fear.  Unblock my ears so that I may hear Your still small voice, and give me a teachable spirit to learn all that You would teach me. I know that alone I can do nothing, but in Christ, Who is my life, I can do all things. In Jesus' name. Amen

"Pray - A Call to Holy Living"

Therefore prepare your minds for action; discipline yourselves; set all your hope on the grace that Jesus Christ will bring you when he is revealed.  Like obedient children, do not be conformed to the desires that you formerly had in ignorance.  Instead, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct;  for it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold,  but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.  He was destined before the foundation of the world, but was revealed at the end of the ages for your sake.  Through him you have come to trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are set on God.

Now that you have purified your souls by your obedience to the truth^] so that you have genuine mutual love, love one another deeply^] from the heart. You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God

Abba Father,

During this Lenten time of grace , we ask that we make ourselves ready to be shown your will in our daily lives- Very often we pray “ Lord teach me to do your will”  but our hearts and minds are often not disposed to listen and obey. We are sometimes in such a hurry that our human impulses and flesh often take over because of hurt ,fear and insecurity.

Help us to come to know the depths of your love , as our Loving  Abba Father who is ever ready to hold us and help us and work it out for us  provided we give you the charge.  True humility means total dependence on you, especially when we may not understand your plan. Like Mother Mary and the saints make us truly humble so that in difficult moments we may not submit to our flesh but be guided by your HolySpirit. Help us to break up the fallow ground of our hearts, help us to forgive and show mercy and compassion even to those who hurt and misunderstand us

Matthew 5 :5  says -  “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” Yes Lord, this lent  teach us meekness , teach us surrender , teach us wisdom , teach us humility which is strength under control  and teach us to love with your unconditional love .

I thank You that You will break through in the dry, hard areas of my life, help me to rise up and worship you at all times”

Help me to know deep in my heart that You will break through in my prayers. Give me a vision of who You are in all of Your splendour and majesty. I want to worship You throughout the day and see You in a greater way. Teach me to align myself with Your greatness and give me a new way of looking at life. I choose to make Your presence the central theme of my life

Abba Father,

We praise and thank you for your Word that is living and active as Hebrews 4:12 says “Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

Thank You for revealing Yourself to us thru your Word. Give us boldness, courage, and zeal to proclaim Your awesome power and goodness. Use us to spread the Gospel, share our testimonies, add to Your Kingdom, and to bring Glory to you. You are worthy of all honor, glory, and praise!  Abba Father, we pray that each one of us may experience the power of confessing the Word and believing in your Word as it is your Word O Lord that will bring about transformation and  renewal of our minds.

Open our eyes, ears, minds, and hearts. Refresh and Revive us. May we be instruments to spread your word and to reach out to many that still need to hear about You. May we not be idle or slumber, but have a heart for the needy and lost. Let us all be a living testimony, the light and the salt to the earth.

Heavenly Father,

Today our hearts are overflowing  with much joy and gratitude for the 41 fruitful years that you have blessed, sustained and prospered our MIPC prayer group.  We thank you for the founder members and for the labour of love of all who have sown into this loving community.  So many lives have been healed , so many minds renewed and so many  hearts touched through the loving service of our dear brothers and sisters both present and those who have gone before us.

Today we pray a special blessing on our prayer group. We pray Psalm 5:12  Surely, Lord , you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.   Yes Lord may your love, protection and favor surround each dear brother and sister  of our community. May our families be beacons of light and may Jesus shine through us. Make us much more a praising community, a praying community and a missionary community who will continue to reach out and win souls for Christ. May we strive hard to make Your Word our Home and thus bring you glory by  living holy and fruit bearing lives .

"Pray - Renewal of the Mind through the Word of God"

Loving Father, too often my mind is deflected from Jesus onto the things of the world, especially when times are difficult, but today I make a decision to keep my mind focused on Christ, knowing that this is Your best will for me.

I pray that I become increasingly aware of the Spirit's promptings in my life through daily intimacy with Jesus, so that day by day, my heart and mind may become renewed by the daily reading of the Word of God.

May the nature of Jesus be reflected through my actions and attitude and may my life be transformed daily, by the renewing of my mind. Help me to prove in my life what Your will for me is, and may I do only those things that are good, and acceptable and perfect in Your sight - for Your praise and glory, and for the benefit of others.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We thank you for the gift of each new day that dawns with a renewed hope for our lives. You are the Lord of my life, and You are the Lord of my mind.

Lord, Your Word in Colossians 3:10 says that “And have clothed yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator.”

Our minds are renewed as we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Saviour. May the Holy Spirit cleanse our mind from anything unrighteous and help us to focus on the things of heaven. When we set our mind on you, we will find peace, rest, and new hope. We give you all praise because James 1:17 says “…every perfect gift, is from above.”

Lord, help us to study and apply your Word to our lives each day. Help us make this a discipline of the mind and heart, empowered by Your Spirit, transforming us each day more and more into your likeness. Help us have self-awareness of when we’re falling into temptation and turn quickly back to you. Thank you for your tender mercy and love, ever leading us onward.

"Pray - Abide in Christ and His Word abide in you"

Loving Father,

We thank you for your Son our Lord Jesus Christ who is the Word made flesh and dwelt among us.  We thank you Jesus for blessing us with the Holy Spirit who is our comforter, counsellor, advocate and dwells in each one of us. Thank you Lord for guiding the community with a clear direction for 2022 to “Make God’s Word  our home, to live a holy  and fruit bearing life”.

Now we pray for grace and strength to discipline ourselves and obey your command in order to live the theme on a daily basis.  As we meditate, study and apply your Word daily in our lives,  teach us by the mercies of God, to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our spiritual worship.

Holy Spirit help us not to conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we may discern what is the will of God- what is good and acceptable and perfect. Help us to abide in you, so that your words abide in us which will enable us to grow in holiness and bear much fruit.

Holy Spirit strengthen us in our weakness and times of temptations to trust in Jesus and obey Him, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through you who dwells within us.  Teach us to be the doers of the word always so that your joy may be in us and that our joy may be complete.

Dear Lord Jesus ,

We thank you for inspiring our leaders and in your wisdom providing us with a road map for the year 2022, in and through the theme to

“Make God’s Word your Home to Live a Holy and Fruit Bearing Life.”

Let the key scripture verses of 1 Peter 1:22 and Galatians 5:22 be always on our lips.  Lord help us to make your Word our home, help us to become so familiar with it and do as Joshua 1:8 says “Keep this Book of Law always on your lips, meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

Make us aware and alert to memorize your Word and speak it aloud every day of our life over every situation that comes against us, to walk in the authority and anointing that you have bestowed upon us, and to live the theme by rooting our lives in the Word of God and obeying it, living a life of Holiness and Bearing Fruit that will last through all seasons.

"Pray - That we will cultivate a heart of praise and thanksgiving at all times especially in times of trials and testing"

Dear Lord Jesus,

We  thank you for the gift of praise and thanksgiving that you have given to each of us. We pray that in this new year of 2022 each one of us make praise and thanksgiving a lifestyle - that you would give us the grace to praise and thank you in every circumstance and situation especially during times of trials and testing.

Give us vision to see things as you do and to believe Romans 8:28 which says - “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Yes Lord, It is a praising and thanking heart that unlocks the blessings and graces of heaven and enables us to get our breakthroughs in challenging times.

We ask that the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts would always be pleasing and acceptable to you, our loving and merciful God.  Teach us and train us Lord, make us disciplined to Set a guard over our mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of our lips.

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we prepare our hearts and homes to receive Jesus, give each one of us a spirit of true repentance, so that we make a firm decision to walk by the spirit and not by the desires of the flesh.  We pray that our hearts and homes be a worthy and Holy dwelling place for the Christ child.

As we welcome Lord Jesus in our homes, may His perfect love fill us to overflowing so that we be channels of His love to each other, as Ephesians 3:14-17 says , "For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name.

I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in our inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for being a source of our strength in all the challenging situations we go through in life. Let all we do honor You, Father. As you encourage us, let us be an encouragement to those around us. We thank you for your promise in Isaiah 41:10 “do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God;

I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” In Your Word we are upheld and Your arms surround us with love as we cast our anxiety on you and find safety and protection.

Help us Abba Father, we pray to be a channel of encouragement and love to all who are facing difficult times now. We want to be an overcomer resting on your strength and love.

We pray that you help us to keep following You, keep hoping and holding onto the joy and peace which we received through our Lord Jesus who is our ultimate source of encouragement.

"Pray - To Perservere in Trials"

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank You for the lesson You have taught us through the witness of Your Servant Job.

Your Word in Ephesians 6:12 says – “For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this recent darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places”

Lord, keep me ever-focused on You, and keep my heart steadfastly trusting You for all my needs. Let me not function in my own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, help me to find Your mercy, goodness and take up my cross daily and pray that I may run the race that is set before me with patient endurance, looking up to Jesus, who is the author and finisher of my faith, and the solid Rock upon which I stand.

May we do this for the heavenly joy that is set before me, knowing that Jesus Himself walked this way and has broken the power of sin and death.

"Pray - To be a Missionary Christian just like our Lady was"

Dear Heavenly Father,

In this month of October which is dedicated to Our Blessed Mother, we ask that we may be like her - She always said a Yes to your holy will.

She had implicit trust in you and humbly surrendered to your divine plan in her life.

We pray that like her we may also say a Yes to your will and your plan for us even when we don’t understand it. Give us a missionary heart to share Jesus with all and everyone we meet and shake us out of our comfort zones.

Your Word says that the harvest is plenty but the labourers are few.

May we have that missionary zeal like Mother Mary had and may we always be prepared  to give an answer to everyone who asks us to give the reason for the hope that is in us and put on the shoes of the gospel of peace so that we may be a living testimony of your power and love in our homes, place of work  community and the world.

"Pray - To be a Generous Christian"

2 Corinthians 9:6 :  “The point is this, the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”

Father, we ask you today for a spirit of generosity, so that we will be able to give generously, to give willingly and to give cheerfully.

For it is in giving that we will receive, we declare your word in Luke 6:38 which says Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over,  will be put into your lap, for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.

Lord prepare our hearts to be radical in our giving of our time, resources and talents for your kingdom to be established here on earth

Dear Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for Your Son our Lord Jesus Christ who has won the victory over sin and death. We rejoice in His Glorious Victory and pray that it becomes a reality in our lives as we trust in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.

We pray that we always desire to equip ourselves with the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God so that we may be able to protect ourselves from the deceptive teachings of this world. Help us always to lead a victorious life in Christ as in Him alone our victory over the world, the flesh and the devil is secure.

"Pray for a Heart of an Intercessor"

Dear Loving God,

Abba Father, Your Son Lord Jesus is the High Priest of our new covenant with God, You knew how important it is to have a heart of an intercessor. As per your Word in Hebrews 7:25 – Consequently he is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Lord, give us a heart of Christ-centered intercessor knowing the heart of God and by knowing what pleases Him.

Help us Lord, to renew our mind and be sanctified with Your Word so that we weep, pray and fast for your people like prophet Nehemiah prayed for the Israelites. Lord, we pray for a compassionate heart and love for God’s people to stand in the gap to intercede whether it is for the poor in spirit, persecuted, lost and broken.

"Pray to have a Heart of an Intercessor"

Dear Lord Jesus,

It is true that more things are accomplished by prayer and intercession than we can ever imagine. In fact without prayer nothing can happen, and all our works will be just in the flesh. We pray earnestly that you give us an intercessor's heart  Just like Moses cried out to you on his knees for the people of Israel incessantly - Move us and stir our hearts to get out of our busyness and distraction and intercede for the burden you put on our hearts - for our family, our community and the nations. Give us vision to see things like you do and then to pray them through.

Help us to use your Word in our intercession to break the strongholds of the enemy and give us a heart of mercy to plead mercy for your people.

Joshua 23 :10 says- One of you puts to flight a thousand , since it is the Lord your God who fights for you, as He has promised you. Lord Jesus help us to partner with you and the Holy Spirit in prayer so that Our Father’s kingdom can be established here on earth as it is in heaven.

Mama Mary as we celebrate your Nativity, we honour you as our Mother and helper and trust in your love for us. Lead us on the path of virtue and preserve us from every evil. 

We come to you with our needs and supplications and seek your intercession, as you are our Mediatrix and the Most Favoured One. Let us enjoy your protection and always walk in your love and peace. Guide us closer to you Son Jesus, Who gave you to us to be our Mother forever.

"Pray for the salvation of all Talibans and healing of their inner wounds"

Matthew 5:43-44 - “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”

Almighty and Loving God, we thank you for your forgiving and healing love for each one of us. As you call us to pray for those who persecute us, we lift up the Taliban to you today.

We pray that your Holy Spirit would work in them and soften their hard hearts. Only you truly know their hearts, Lord. Just as you created us, help us to remember that they are also your creation  and that you love them deeply. We pray for the salvation of their souls and healing of their inner  wounds . Heal their  hearts  and forgive them so that they might experience  your Love and be transformed and renewed.

"Pray for Peace in Afghanistan"

Dear Loving Father,

We thank you for this beautiful Country of Afghanistan. We grieve today with those who grieve over Afghanistan, indeed, the people exiled or suddenly having to leave, and the men and women from other countries who have made sacrifices in recent years in the cause of that country’s future.

In Mathew 5:44 says - But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. We pray for all the Christians in Afghanistan that they may hold on to their faith during this time of trial. We pray that you would take hold of them and help them feel the comfort and peace that only comes from you. We lift the newly to be formed Taliban Government into Your Holy hands.

We pray for the Holy Spirit work in them and soften their hearts. Lord, just as You created us, help us to remember that they are Your creation as well and you love them deeply and their mind and heart be renewed, transformed and mighty revival takes place in their land.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We thank you for dying for each one of us and being THE WAY for us to eternal life. Thank you Lord that you are seated at the right hand of the Father and you are making intercession for your own , upholding all things by your Word alone. You have conquered sin and death and all the powers of darkness. 

1Timothy 2:1 says “First of all then I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgiving be made on behalf of all men.”  Lord, today our world needs humble intercessors more than ever. We pray for Afghanistan especially for the Christians there - Lord have mercy on your people and save them. We ask you to  make each of us  intercessors after your own heart.

Keep us away from excessive busyness so that we have time to intercede for people you have placed in our lives and others who need our prayer. Help us to heed our Blessed Mother’s advice who said “Pray much, make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to hell because there is no one to make sacrifices for them’’.

My Jesus fill us with compassion and love for souls everywhere, move us to become prayer warriors. May we partner with you, Lord Jesus and with your Holy Spirit to make your kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven.  Help each of us to  say every day – “My Jesus it is for love of you and the conversion of sinners that I make this reparation , prayer and sacrifice ”

"Pray for our Country India"

2 Chronicles 7:14 –

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Father God, as we celebrate the Independence of our MotherLand India, we pray that You will establish your rightful position in our land. We pray that You, give the leaders of our country the wisdom and integrity to lead our great nation in the best direction. Give each one discernment we pray, when making decisions or drawing up the legislation and laws that they pass. And may the decisions that they reach be godly and wise.

As the days become increasingly dark, we pray that you raise up an army of prayer warriors across our nation  who will unite in pray and intercession so that the light of Your love will shine on our motherland. May peace reign in our nation and protect us from those that would seek our downfall, we pray. We thank You that you have placed us in this land and we are grateful that we are citizens of India. Thank You, Lord, for my country.

Isaiah 62:6-7 says “I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.”

Abba Father, We thank you for the precious gift of your Son Jesus. We thank you Lord Jesus for calling us your friends in John 15:15 and  for the privilege of carrying everything to you in prayer.  Lord Jesus we pray that You instill in us a desire to seek You daily and be dedicated to studying Your Word. We pray that as we study Your Word we will develop a genuine love for you Abba Father and for souls everywhere.

Make us willing intercessors ready to stand in the gap and pray for the needs of others. Make us  your watchmen who will tirelessly intercede for people in our family,  our community, our parish and the world at large. We ask you to help us to grow in the Spirit of intercession and learn to pray in the Spirit continually as Ephesians 6:18  says “ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.

With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.’’  Lord may we align our will to yours because    1 John 5:14 says, “If we ask anything, according to the will of the Father, he will hear us.” We pray that we become ardent Prayer Warriors for the Lord who are ready to intercede at all times and in all circumstances.

"Pray for God's Plan and Vision for MIPC"

Dear Father God,

As Mary Immaculate Praise Community, we desire to take hold of the vision You have for us and pray that You would lead and guide us to take a collective step of faith in the direction that You would have us go.

Habakkuk: Chapter 2: 2 - 3: The Lord answered me and said: Write a vision; make it plain on tablets, for there is still a vision for the appointed time; it speaks of the end, and does not lie. If it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay.

Abba Father, help us to visualize and live to see our MIPC grow in numbers and in intimacy  with You. Draw us closer to You and to each other, as we seek Your face together in prayer. May we be strengthened in the inner man, united together in faith and  carry out Your plans and purposes  for Your greater glory.  We pray that the MIPC vision that emerges in our hearts, will be prompted by the Holy Spirit, for the edification of the saints and to Your praise and glory.

Make us a missionary community that will carry your vision and mission in our hearts, homes, parish and wherever we go . This we ask in Jesus' name. Amen

"Pray for all the Frontline Health care workers - doctors, nurses and medical staff and all those affected by Covid-19 and their families"

Dear Heavenly Father,

We bring to you all the Front line Health care workers and all those affected by Covid 19 and their families. We ask you to have mercy on all of mankind and we confess we have sinned, disobeyed and rejected your commandments - Have mercy on us Lord especially those affected by this Virus , their loved ones and all the health care workers working tirelessly to remedy the situation.

Be their strength and help dear Lord Jesus .  We now stand in the gap and  cry out  to you - Your word in Psalm 102 :17 says “God will respond to the prayer of the destitute. He will not despise their plea” Hear our prayer and cry O Lord and again  2 Daniel 14:11 says “Lord  there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty, Help us O Lord Our God for we rely on you and in your Name we have come against this vast army” (the Coronavirus).

O Lord have mercy on us and help us !!! We pray that many may call on your name Lord Jesus and be saved during these challenging times and let each one of us be instruments of prayer, intercession, healing, compassion and support to all those who need our help.

Dear Loving Heavenly Father,

You have called each one of us by name, you have set us apart for your greater purpose and calling, but far too often we have strayed away from you and pursued our own interests and plans. Luke 15:18 “I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, Father I have sinned against heaven and before you”.

Today we repent of our iniquities and confess them to you and not hold anything back, Lord Jesus come into my life and through the power of your Holy Spirit and let your Holy Light illuminate my darkened life. Just like you brought awareness to the prodigal son, we thank you for making us aware of our sinful state of life, and giving us the grace to return back to you our Good Shepherd who cares for each one of us.

Your word in Romans 12:2 says “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” Help me O Lord to daily seek after you, so that in seeking after you I will find the greatest treasure of my life, and from being good will become better and in time the best me that you want me to be.

Dear Loving Heavenly Father, as we live by faith and not by sight we see much of what the world does not see because we see it through the eyes of faith. It is by faith that we come to Jesus and it is by faith that we will stay on track.

For it is not the one who runs the swiftest nor the one who runs for a day, but the one who endures to the end that will be saved. The struggles of this life diminish when we walk by faith and not by sight. 1 Thessalonians 1:3: We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, give us enduring faith each day in our struggle against sin and temptation. Give us the strength to overcome cruelty with grace, and hatred with love. Lord, remind us that our actions matter. We do not fight a physical battle but a spiritual one, and with each act of compassion may we build your kingdom. Help us to be kingdom builders today.

Loving Father,

We thank you for Mary Immaculate Praise Community and all it’s elders and leaders. Especially today we thank you for Br Vernon who is anointed to lead the community along with Sis Ann, Br Joachim & Br Valerian. We pray  like Peter prayed  in 1 Pet 5: 1-3.  “Now as an elder myself and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory to be revealed, I exhort the elders among you to tend the flock of God that is in your charge, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion but willingly, as God would have you do it.” May the Servant leader Br Vernon & the core team members be ambassadors of Christ in order to guide, lead and serve the community with love and humility.

We thank you Lord Jesus that  you give them good health,  the time, patience, wisdom and grace to lead the community. Enable them to grow in holiness. We pray that you make them witnesses in Words and action that they may lead us by example. We pray that their entire family be blessed because of their commitment and Zeal for your kingdom.

Come Holy Spirit be the source, strength and guide of our wonderful core team members and help them to submit to God’s will, plan and purpose   in loving, serving and building the community in  the Oasis of Oman. Mother Mary, our patroness, please intercede for them.

"Pray - Protection of Priest and for an increase in vocations"

Gracious and loving God,

We thank you for the gift of our priests. Through them we experience your presence in the sacraments. During this time of pandemic we seek your protection for our Priests - Your ministers who look after and take care of your flock. You are their source of grace, strength and power. Lord just like you said to Abraham – “I am your shield, your very great reward” - We ask you Heavenly Father to be their shield and very great reward. We especially pray now for those priests who are sick and suffering – We pray that by the wounds and stripes of Jesus they are healed and ever stronger to proclaim the good news to all.

Bless them Father, and provide them with wisdom in all their decisions and protect them from the viles of the enemy and keep them ever close to you.  Help our priests to be strong in their vocation so that seeing their witness more will be drawn to join the priest hood.

We pray according to your Word in Matthew 9: 37-38 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;  therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” We pray for vocations, for young men - Set their souls on fire with love for your people and help them say a YES to your call and make them vibrant, fruitful priests to proclaim the good news.

"Pray - Forgive our sins & heal our land from Covid"

Loving Father, We your sons and daughters, humble ourselves, pray, seek your face and turn from our wicked ways. We acknowledge our failure as individuals, family, ministry, cell and community in loving you and loving one another. As we repent and return with a renewed faith in your Son our Lord Jesus, we believe you will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal all of us in Mary Immaculate Praise Community. Holy Spirit teach us to love genuinely, hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good and love one another with mutual affection.

Help us not to lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering and persevere in faith, hope, love, prayer and service to build one another and the community. We also pray for all those who are affected by Covid and other ailments. May they able to get required medical treatment on time, physical, emotional and spiritual support, speedy recovery and healing. We pray for eradication of this pandemic from the face of the earth and thus everyone will come to know and believe in you Lord Jesus. Let the  entire earth be filled with the  presence, power and person of Jesus. Let all who believe in you experience Salvation & new life in Jesus Christ. We make this prayer in Jesus’ mighty name.

"Pray - Healing of our body, mind and spirit"

Loving father,

We your children are all hurt and wounded by others and we in turn hurt and wound others in our thoughts, words and deeds.  As Jesus taught us in the Our Father, you command us to forgive everyone who hurt us as you forgive us.  We pray for grace and strength to forgive everyone who hurt us while we ask for forgiveness from those whom we hurt. We know that you are the Lord that healeth us. You sent your word to heal our disease. By your stripes and wounds we are healed. Help us to become channels of healing in our family first and for others so that your grace can flow in and through us.

According to 2 Chronicles 7:14, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Heal us Lord and we will be healed, save us and we will be saved, for you are the one I praise.

Finally, we claim your word in 1 Thes 5: 23, “May the God of peace himself sanctify us entirely; and may our spirit, and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus. He who called us is faithful and will do it”.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We thank you for empowering us with the gift of the Holy Spirit –for anointing each of us for a specific purpose and plan. We pray that we will be obedient to the promptings of the Holy Spirit each day and be the salt of the earth and the light of the world in our homes and then outside.

Give us the grace to live the gospel in the everyday moments of our daily routine- to do ordinary things with extraordinary love, to make sacrifices for souls and pray people into your kingdom. Give us wisdom and boldness to share your gospel with whomever you lead us to – and respond generously to the great commission –Go make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28 :19) - in the end that is the only thing that will count, - Make us rich in the things of God –personal prayer, intercession, the Word and winning souls for you.

Father God we thank you for pouring out on us the Gifts and Charisms of Your Holy Spirit. As we read in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 There are many different gifts, but it is always the same Spirit; There are many different ways of serving, but it is always the same Lord. There are many different forms of activity, but in everybody it is the same God who is at work in them all. We ask that as we have been empowered we will use the Gifts and Charisms that you have blessed us with to serve and build the Body of Christ.

Though we are many we are One Body in Christ Jesus. Help us Lord to identify our Gifts and Charisms, so that we can become effective instruments in your Vineyard. Let us step out Boldly and reach out to all around us drawing them towards the light which is Jesus Christ

Loving Father, we thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit. We are aware that each one of us is a temple of the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of God dwells within us. The one who is within us is stronger than the one who is in the world.

Thank you Father, that your love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. As we prepare ourselves for the great feast of Pentecost and a new and fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, stir our hearts and help us to yield to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Jesus you are the true vine.

Thank you for cleansing us with your spoken Word. Lead us daily to abide in you to bear fruit that endures.  Lord Jesus, we confess your word in John 8:8  “ My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples”.

Heavenly Father – Our Lord Jesus died to set all families free from every bondage. Jesus came that we may have life in all its abundance.

We ask you Lord to wash our family tree in your precious blood, cleanse us from anything that is not of you Especially sins of Idolatry and sins of the flesh and all generational curses. May we use the weapons of prayer and intercession and your Word to disarm the schemes of the enemy and to allow your presence to fill our hearts and homes daily.

We thank you for your Word in Isaiah 54:17 which say that No weapon fashioned against us will prosper and your Word in 2 Corinthians 2;14 which says Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ.  Yes, Lord, no matter what our situation, when we surrender and obey you, you give us the victory. May we experience this victory daily in our family by dying to self, walking in love and forgiveness and praying together – For the family that prays together stays together.

We ask you Lord to give us the grace to love as you loved, to handle our family relationship with love.

Let our daily interactions with our spouse and children be guided by your love, give us the grace to show respect towards each other and enable us to handle difficult situation with the wisdom of your Holy Spirit.

A family that prays together stays together let time of family prayer take precedence over all things and let the time of family prayer be a time to build, nurture and grow our relationships. Let it be the glue that binds us together and draws us closer to you and to each other.

"Pray - Accountability in the Family"

Dear Loving Lord, let Your Kingdom come and Your Will be done as You have placed us all in families and have, by Your own authority, established Your own statutes and laws. Thank You for the clarity with which You have taught us in Your Word, how the family that is seeking to do Your will behaves, and the role that each of us holds within our own special family.

Thank You Lord, that You are our Father and have established the man of the home to take the place of authority, as the head of the family. May the men who are in this responsible role act in a manner that is pleasing to You, by treating their wives with love and respect and their children with loving discipline and wise counsel.

May they each become men after Your own heart as they assume their God-given role in their own homes. May wives be gentle and gracious and willing to act in the crucial role of helper that You, Yourself have graciously placed them. May they reflect the great love that Christ had for the Father and the sweet gentleness of the Holy Spirit, just as Jesus demonstrated in His own life being obedient always.

Thank You Father for the heritage and gift of children. May these children respect their parents and recognize the privilege they have in being part of a godly family. We commit ourselves into your loving hands.

"Pray - Manifestation of Power and Grace of Resurrected Christ in us"

Loving Father, who for our redemption gave your only-begotten Son to the death on the cross, and by his glorious resurrection delivered us from the power of our enemy: Grant us so to die daily to sin, that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his resurrection.

We praise you for you are our Conqueror, Victor, Redeemer and Friend. We ask you to renew our hearts, minds, lives and pray for your spirit of refreshing to fill us again. Through your death, we have been set free, redeemed, the old has lost its grip, the new has come. Shine your light in us, through us and over us.

We confess and declare your Word to be made manifest in our lives from Romans 6: 5,6,11 - For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.  We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed and we might no longer be enslaved to sin. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Thanks be to God, for your indescribable gift! To you be glory and honor, now and forever.

Dear Heavenly Father

Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of Love and of self-control. As we approach Holy Week, let us be mindful to practice self-discipline and self-control in every decision we make. Self-indulgence makes us slaves but Jesus died to set us free from every bondage.

Holy Spirit help us to be mindful of the words we speak & the thoughts we think. Help us to walk by spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Jesus gave us a new commandment – to love one another as he has loved us. May the parents in every home lead by their good example so that the entire household will relate in love and unity - for there the Lord commands a blessing!!

We pray that each family experience the Easter joy and peace that only our Risen Lord can give. May our lives reflect the resurrection power and victory of Our Lord Jesus in all we do.

Our God is a God of order and not of disorder and confusion. God dwells, operates and manifests His glory in a place of order. It is only in the place where divine order is embraced and respected that God commands His blessings and manifests His glory.

Father God in your divine plan of family you have chosen the Fathers and Husbands to be the head, followed by the wife and children.

You have given your authority to the fathers and husbands over his households. We pray that all fathers and husbands take this divine role seriously and lead their families on the path of righteousness through an exemplary lifestyle of prayer and holiness.

We also pray for healing of all family ties so that there is perfect submission and unity of the family members and through humility every root of rebellion and strife are rooted out.

"Pray - Relationships in the Family"

Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You for all the blessings You have showered on me and my family.

As the Scripture says in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant  or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;  it does not rejoice in wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Father, we pray for your strength and  anointing to be on each family member so that we can persevere in love, patience and forgiveness. Help us not to keep a record of wrongs but rather experience Your Agape love through Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.  As the saying goes, “A family that prays together stays together.” We pray that Our Daily family prayer time will strengthen the bonds of love between us. We pray that the head of each house – The Fathers, will seek God’s Will at all times, especially in  difficult and trying times.

Lord Jesus, we also pray that you protect Christian families which are under attack through evil designs and philosophies which are contrary to your Holy Spirit. Dear Lord Jesus,

We thank you for this anointed  time of grace and mercy to each one of us.  While we spend this Lenten time with fasting, praying and almsgiving, help each one of us to go beyond our routine to spread the fragrance of God’s forgiving and healing love to everyone around.

As the Scripture says in Matthew 5 : 13-16 - “You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall it’s saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. ¹⁵ Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven”.

Help us that we may not focus so much on our struggles, but rather, move forward with hunger and thirst for souls to be drawn into your kingdom.   Send us as laborers in your vineyard to lead them to the light of Christ and help them to grow in your image and likeness.

Father, we pray that your light may shine on all the earth. However, limited we are, you are able to make all grace abound to us so that our words and actions reflect the light of your love, in the name of Jesus the Lord. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,

As we are in the Lenten season – a time of special grace, a time to draw near to you and take a deeper look at our lives so as to root out the sin that so easily entangles. We thank you for being a God of mercy and compassion. You said in your Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that if we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways, you will heal our Land.

Lord we pray against the spirit of pride that has creeped into the church, into governments, families and society at large. Have mercy on us for our complacency, our wrong ideologies and our spirit of lukewarmness and compromise.  We ask your mercy for the times we have refused to be humble – rather we have listened to our ego, our will and our desires and so often ignored the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Have mercy on us Lord, forgive us Lord and heal us Lord. Help us be serious and make every effort to turn from our pride and wicked ways. Jesus meek and humble of heart make our hearts like unto thine.

Your word says in 1 John 1: 9 that if we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Also, your word says in Matthew 3:8, that we bear fruit worthy of repentance.

Lord Jesus, may we examine our conscience daily, repent and renounce our sins and return to you. Give us grace to make many sacrifices, fast, pray, do penance and almsgiving.

May we walk the way of the Cross by forgiving those who hurt us and die to our flesh by being humble, patient and tolerant so that we can truly rise to new life in you.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for our beloved country India where we have been blessed abundantly. Lord Jesus as per your Word in 1 Cor 3:19, St Paul says “wisdom of the world is foolishness in Gods sight’’.

Lord we pray that new Education policy be  secular, inclusive, integrated, upbuilding and upskill the students.  Help the students to grow in their gifts, talents, ability, and guide them in career path. Help every student to be cooperative and not competitive bearing social responsibility,  in order to uphold moral, ethical values and values of integrity and honesty. Lord Jesus as per your Word in John 17:20-21 “I pray not only for them, but also for those who believe in me because of their message. I pray that they may all be one. Father, may they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they be one so that the world will believe that you sent me:. Let there be true unity among all Christians so that the world may know that we are one and thus come to know and believe in you Lord Jesus.

Help us to lead a life of humility, gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every efforts to maintain the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace and brotherhood. Through the power of the Holy Spirit strengthen us in our inner being that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. Stir up the fire within us to be bold witnesses, to stand up for our faith and evangelize through our words, actions and deeds.

Jeremiah 33:6 says, “ you will reveal to us abundance of prosperity and security”. Lord you are true to your Word.

Your word in Phil 4:19 says And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, Keep us mindful that you always have and always will provide for all our needs. Apart from you we can do nothing.

 Merciful God, we ask that you give the leaders the wisdom to guide this country through the current economic situation. Help us to protect the poor and all those who are struggling during this difficult time. Provide for their needs and them hope. Open new opportunities for them and provide the resources they need to live with dignity. Encourage those who have enough to share essential resources, with those who lack the necessities of life and to do so with humble, grateful and loving hearts.

Blessed Redeemer, Saints Peter and Paul the patrons of our parish were leaders and models in strengthening the faith of the infant Church, and we ask them to pray for our faith to grow strong. Saint Paul wrote in his second letter to Saint Timothy, “I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have.” O Lord, we pray increase our faith and trust in you. We ask through the intercession of Saints Peter and Paul to pray for us to grow in holiness and spiritual maturity.

Your presence is but a spark in us, fan it into a flame the gifts we have received at Pentecost, so that we have lively faith, firm hope, and burning love; humility in prosperity, attention in prayer, purity of heart, a right intention in all our works, resignation to the will of God and perseverance in the grace of God even unto death. We grieve for those that are living in war-torn countries where there is much blood-shed, corruption and unrest in their governments and pray that in Your mercy and grace You would intervene - by removing corrupt leaders and replace them with those of integrity.
Grant that every leader may be enabled by your powerful protection to make right decisions to lead their country with honesty and integrity. We pray that they will seek after wisdom and justice, mercy and truth, freedom, godly grace and a desire to help the people under their care. May peace always be their upmost goal. Lord you are the prince of peace grant us above all your peace in our hearts

Lord it was You who reminded Your own disciples “to come apart and to rest awhile”, that they needed to have times of refreshment from their busy ministry activities and we thank You for this opportunity to enjoy different and new experiences. May their time away be one of warmth and love and filled with fun and fellowship. May their hearts overflow with Your joy and peace. 

Watch over the journey of all those who have travelled and are travelling today and protect them from all difficulties and dangers. We pray that you bless their food and water and keep them in good health. May they rest in You and return refreshed in body soul and spirit to praise and glorify you, in Jesus name we pray, Amen

May there be signs and wonders and we pray that The Spirit of the LORD will rest on each one of us. Spirit of wisdom and understanding, enlighten our minds to perceive the mysteries of the universe in relation to eternity. Spirit of right judgement and courage guide us and make us firm in our Baptismal decision to follow Jesus’ way of love. Spirit of knowledge and reverence help us to see the lasting value of justice and mercy in our everyday dealings with one another.

Dear Lord Jesus,

 Your word says in Mathew 5 that we are the salt of the earth and we are the light of the world, but if the salt has lost its flavour, it is no good for anything. We are the light of the world but if we refuse to let our light shine for you…… of what use is it?

Lord, today the world is in so much of darkness… because we Christians have got complacent…… while your kingdom is being neglected. Lord Jesus, we ask you to shake us out of our comfort zones so that we will not lose a single opportunity to live and share the Gospel with whoever we meet in our daily lives. Put a deep desire in each one of us to pray and intercede for people who you bring across our path in our day to day lives, so that we can win many souls for you.

2 Corinthians 5:20 says “We are therefore Christ's Ambassadors,( It is ) as though God were making his appeal through us”. May we rise up to this Call.  Help us to walk by the Spirit and not fulfil the desires of the flesh. May we clothe ourselves with humility, obedience and above all love, especially in our homes for that is where we are called to love first. Above all make us a holy people ! Help us to never miss our daily personal prayer time, the reading of Your Word and visiting the Holy Sacraments so that we can reach one soul at a time. Help us get rid of all distractions and worldly attachments so that we can have your heart and your vision for our Prayer group. Loving Father we pray during this time in India, that you yourself choose and anoint servants who would serve  our country according to your will, plan and purpose. Let there be renewal in our political system. May people of all caste, creed, religion and status be treated with equality, dignity, respect and justice and may all avail equal opportunities  for employment and government schemes and facilities. May every citizen be protected from all harm and danger of every sort. Save our country from political and economic collapse. Help us breakdown all the barriers that stand in the way of common unity, brotherhood and progress.

We pray for Godly leaders, Prime Minister, council of ministers and lawmakers to rule India with selfless service, honesty, integrity and for the common good of all. Spirit of Holiness,  help young people to discover the beauty of the divine call. We thank you for the Theme for this year 2019 – “Grow in holiness”. You very well know that this is the need of the hour. We have lost the sense of sin, We no longer have a desire to grow in Holiness.

Lord we on our own strength are absolutely incapable of living this theme. We need your Holy Spirit who is the sanctifier, to be with us, to put in our heart a desire, a longing for holiness. Even as we listen to your word throughout this year on Growing in Holiness, Let your word touch our heart, show us where we are lacking, where we are failing to be holy. Help us to remember your word in Hebrew 12:14 which says “Strive for Holiness without which we cannot see God”.

Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love only what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me so, O Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy.

Heavenly  Father, Bless our Parish Lenten Retreat. May this be a time of transformation for all of us and for every brother and sister who will attend this retreat. May the goal of our Lenten Retreat be to become more and more like Jesus. Teach us to find new life through Prayer, Penance and Almsgiving. Keep us from sin and help us to live by your commandment of love. Lord during this Retreat nourish us with Your Word of life and make us one with You in love and prayer. Fill our hearts with Your love and keep us faithful to the Gospel of Christ.

Bless your servant Fr. Francis Kartanam and use him in a mighty way to speak Your Word and lead your people. Lord thank You for blessing each one of us with this Lenten Retreat. By Your Spirit help us to pass from our old life of sin to the new life of grace so that we may be truly prepared  for the coming feast of the Resurrection of Jesus.

We pray that during this lent we will truly repent from our heart. May it be a Metanoia Experience, a complete U-turn, a change of mind as per your word in  Romans 12:2- Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Lord we pray that you bring to mind all that is hidden in the darkness of our heart, Let your Holy spirit reveal to us all that is not pleasing to you in our lives. Break every yoke that binds us and pulls us down. Transform us and make us a new creation.

We confess that we have fallen time and again in our pursuit to follow you. But Lord you know our heart, you know us through and through. We pray for a change of heart, to make it new and to be like you. Help us lord to overcome our shortcomings and failures. We cast all our anxiety on you for you care for us. Help us lord in this Lenten journey to live the theme of holiness. We pray that you give us the strength to “Watch and Pray” during these days so that we may encounter you in every area of our life.

Loving Lord we know that deep in the heart of every man there is a yearning for peace. The nations try in vain to forge peace initiatives, peace plans and peace treaties – and yet we know that in this world there will be no peace until the Lord Jesus Christ – the Prince of Peace Himself returns from His place in heaven.

We thank You that Your Word tells us that in this world we will have tribulation and times of war until that glorious future day when Jesus comes to reign on earth as our heavenly King of kings, Lord of lords and Prince of Peace, when the earth will be filled with the glory of God as the waters cover the sea.

 But Lord in the meanwhile we are to live in a fallen world that is lying in the power of the evil one and so we pray that we may take up the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God and stand fast in this evil day, confident of this – that we have the peace of God in our hearts for… Jesus said: my peace I leave with You – let not Your hearts be troubled. Now may the Lord of peace himself give us His peace at all times and in every situation…. The Lord be with us all. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O Almighty God, we acknowledge You today as Lord, not only of individuals, but of nations and governments.  We thank You for the privilege of being able to organize ourselves politically. We ask your blessing on every candidate that stands for election. May they know their duty and be true to themselves and the ones who elect them.
We thank You for the opportunity that this upcoming election this year puts before our nation, to exercise the solemn duty not only to vote, But to influence countless others to vote, and to vote correctly.  Grant to every citizen of India the wisdom and discernment to vote according to your will. Bless every ballot box that we may have free and fair elections.

We pray that the true spirit of solidarity, brotherhood and justice may reign and prevail in our land.

Heavenly father protect our country from external forces like terrorism and natural calamities and internal disturbances that breed violence and fear. Rekindle your spirit is us, so that we may be able to stand against divisive forces and remain united in peace and harmony.

Lord we surrender our country its people and all those in authority into your precious hands. We proclaim you Lord over our nation.

We pray that as our children study in these coming weeks, as they soak up knowledge and memorize facts, as they read and process and write, that you would be renewing their mind and strengthening their spirit.  Help them to persevere through the massive to-do lists and the busy schedules, and help them to keep their eyes fixed on you through it all. As they enter the classrooms and exam rooms, We pray that you would blanket them in your peace. Ease any anxieties, calm their restless mind, and give them focus on the task at hand. We pray that they would know their worth is in you alone, not in any grade, not in any assignment or test or teacher's opinion. We pray that they would fear your presence during their exams, and that they would be comforted by your nearness. Thank you for the gift of this education, Jesus.

We pray that these final exams would be a celebration of all they have learned in this season, and that they would be grateful for all that they have experienced and for all the ways they have grown. May you be glorified through all our children?

Heavenly Father, we bring before you all the workers of love/and our community members who are going through difficult times. Lord you never turned anyone empty handed when they came to you. Moved with compassion you healed them and you fed them. We ask you Lord to be with them, guide and lead them through the difficult time they are facing.

Lord Jesus, you know the situations these families are going through and we believe that you are the God of all possibility. We ask you to bless them and their employers abundantly. 

You are Jehovah Jireh the God of Divine providence who has provided in the past and will continue to provide in the future as well. Lord Jesus bless them with your bountiful supply and help them to trust you always.

Heavenly Father, we call on You right now in a special way. It is through Your power that we were created. Every breath we take, every morning we wake up, and every moment of every hour, we live under Your power.

Father, we ask You now to touch us with that same power, for, as You created us out of nothing, You can certainly recreate us. Fill us with the healing power of Your Spirit. Cast out anything that should not be in us. Mend what is broken and root out any unproductive cells and multiply our healthy cells. Open the blocked arteries or veins and rebuild all damaged areas.

Remove all inflammation and heal any infection. Let the warmth of Your healing love pass through our entire bodies to make new the unhealthy areas, so that our bodies may function the way You created them to function. Father, restore us to full health in mind and body, so that we may serve You the rest of our lives.

Mary our mother we ask you to be with us just like you were with the apostles praying and waiting on the Lord. Intercede for us mother that we may do exactly what your son tells us to do. Lord, we thank you for giving us promises, through which we can tear down the strongholds in our life. We cry out to you for mercy, without you we cannot overcome our weaknesses. Lord we are sorry that we have given Satan a foothold in our life and repent of the way we have allowed him to gain control of our life.

Break his power in us we pray and fill us to overflowing with Your Holy Spirit. We pray that you would break any stronghold of fear or doubt, shame or unbelief that weakens our walk and witness and that makes us so vulnerable to the wiles of Satan. Help us we pray to resist the devil and to take every thought, that starts to drag us down, captive, to hand it to You – for You have not given us the spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, self-discipline and a sound mind. We pray for the binding up and casting out of the powers of darkness from all aspects of our life, relationships, Ministries.

We thank you for each one of them and pray that they experience your son, Jesus in a more tangible way.

We pray for every Catholic child,   youth,  adult, laity and the religious in India   that they may long for holiness and purity  in everyday life.    In a special way we  pray   that the clergy may continue to be pure   in spirit, heart, mind and body.  Dear Holy Spirit, empower the clergy   to live out their vows of celibacy, obedience and poverty   without any compromise.  Strengthen them, O Lord to handle   all their temptations of the flesh,  world and the enemy   the way they are called to do.   As the laity looks up to them for direction,   keep the clergy holy and pure   so that they can build the faith of all  Christians   and also attract others to know Christ the Lord.

Watch over our children and youth who attend these catechism classes. Fill them with a desire to know, love and serve you. Guide them away from every harm and may your mighty Spirit defend them from any aggression and attack.

O Merciful and Gracious Lord, we turn to you for help in moments of sickness and sufferings. Psalm 107:20 says You sent out your word and healed them. we believe that Jesus himself bore their sickness away and carried their diseases.

Lord we ask you to turn their suffering into compassion, sorrow into joy and pain into comfort for others. Let their pray be like that of the centurion Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Give those in authority wisdom in every decision, and help them to think clearly.  Grant them discernment and common sense so they'll be strong and effective leaders.

Help them to lead and govern with integrity, and may their integrity guide them and keep them on track to be fair and just to all communities.

Be merciful Oh Lord to give us leaders, who are Spirit-filled and follow Your principles. Direct their steps according to Your Word for their decisions have a great impact on our lives!

Be their defender and protector, and keep them always on guard. Help those in authority  who  are Christians to be strong and courageous, standing firm in their faith and influencing others for Your kingdom. Encourage and strengthen them, giving them the wisdom they need. Help them to have courage and faith in You, no matter what they're facing day-to-day.

May they always seek the ways of righteousness, justice and mercy. Grant that they may be enabled by your powerful protection to lead their respective countries with honesty and integrity.

Give each one godly wisdom day by day as they carry out the ministry work, and keep them away from distractions and attitudes of the world, in order to accomplish Your work. Lord give each ministry leader a servant heart and a caring spirit for the whole body of Christ – and may each one continue to grow in grace and show forth in their lives a genuine love for those to whom they minister. Creator of all, Your name is mercy! Hear the cries of the people of Syria, Yemen, Sudan and Congo. Comfort those who suffer violence, Console those who mourn the dead.

Give strength to their near neighbours to welcome the refugees. Soften the hearts

of those who have taken up arms and protect all who walk with those who suffer.

God of Hope, inspire leaders in the region to choose peace over violence and to seek reconciliation with their enemies. May your gift of mercy give us the courage to raise awareness of their suffering and turn indifference to compassion. Inspire the Universal Church with compassion for the people of these countries. May the Church be your welcoming face, make us a people of mercy and give us hope for a future built on enduring justice for all.

Lord Jesus we pray for all our children appearing for board, school, college and university exams.  Bless them Lord with your wisdom and understanding. Help them to remember all that they study and read as they prepare for these exams.  Give them the grace to concentrate and study with focused attention and diligence.  Set them free from all attachments, distractions and temptations.  Fill them with your courage and a peace that passes all understanding.

We lift up to you specially children who are burdened by exams, that they will be able to cast their cares on you and that you will make their burdens light.  Bless the parents too Lord with your wisdom and peace.  Help them to be a source of guidance strength and encouragement to their children.  In Jesus name we pray.

Father we thank you for giving us this opportunity to come back to you. Thank you Father for reminding us that we have come from dust and to dust we shall return. We pray that you give us the grace to break all attachments to worldly pleasures. Instill in us also the fear of your blessed commandments, so that having curbed all carnal desires, we may lead a spiritual life, both thinking and doing everything to please you. Lord Jesus help us to discipline our body and to be renewed in spirit.

Without you we can do nothing.  By Your spirit help us to know what is right and to be eager in doing your will.  Teach us to find new life through penance. Keep us from sin, and help us live by your commandment of love.

Father we pray for your hand of protection over these newly joined members. We thank you for having chosen them to experience your son, Jesus in a more tangible way.

Lord Jesus, we pray that you open their hearts and minds so that they are receptive to God’s word. Let every word that is being shared fall on fertile soil and bear a hundred fold. As elders of this community, help us to be instruments in guiding and leading the new members to You.

Today the family is under tremendous attack of the evil one, the very fabric of the family life is being eroded, good and pure values are being destroyed and replaced with impure and selfish desires of the family member, families are gripped with fear of the future and a spirit of materialism.

We pray Lord Jesus for a complete healing of all family ties, and the restoration of relationships in the family. We pray for reconciliation between family members, especially husband wife and children so that just like your holy family our families too will be a place of love, joy, happiness and acceptance once again.

Loving Father, We come before you with faith in your promise that whatever we ask for in your name you will grant to us, if it is for the good of our soul and in accordance with your Divine Will.

We come trusting in your great love for us and believing that only you know what is best for us. We come to you now to ask that you enter our heart and heal all our wounded emotions. You know us better than we know ourselves. Bring your healing love into every corner of our heart and release all the buried negative emotions inside that have not been resolved and continue to cause us pain and anguish. Remove all our unhealed hurts and painful memories that block the flow of your graces, robbing me of your peace, love and joy. Heal all feelings of sadness, loneliness, fear and anxiety.
Heal all guilt, despair, feelings of betrayal and rejection. Heal all feelings of anger, hatred, resentment and bitterness. Bring your healing love to all our emotions that have caused us feelings of hopelessness, discouragement, helplessness and despair.
Grant us the grace to forgive all those who caused these negative emotions and likewise to be forgiven by those to whom we have done the same harm. And then, dear Father, after we have been healed may we be a witness of your healing power and bring glory, honor and praise to you. This we pray in Jesus’ name Amen!

Lord we pray for those among us who are spiritually sick, who are not unable to pray or read your word due to sin, guilt and unforgiveness. We ask you to transform us, convict us of our sins and wash us clean. Help us to make our good confession.

Lord of Mercy and Father of Comfort, You are the One we turn to for help in moments of weakness and times of need. We ask you to be with all those who are sick in our community. Psalm 107:20 says that you send out your Word and heal. So then, please send your healing Word to your servant. In the name of Jesus, drive out all infirmity and sickness from their body. For we believe by your stripes and wounds they will be healed.

Dear Lord, we ask you to turn this weakness into strength, this suffering into compassion, sorrow into joy, and pain into comfort for others. May your servant trust in your goodness and hope in your faithfulness, even in the middle of this suffering. Let them be filled with patience and joy in your presence as they wait for your healing touch.

Lord, restore them to full health of body, mind and spirit. Remove all fear and doubt from their heart by the power of your Holy Spirit, and may you, Lord be glorified through their lives.

"To Pray for all those Who are facing Job Problem"

Loving heavenly Father, we lift up to you, many of our brethren who are facing an increasing pressure at work and too many tasks imposed on them by their immediate Superiors. Many of the Employers are also not paying their salaries for months together for reasons known to them, due to which they find it difficult to manage their families. You give them the calmness in their Spirit and take away all their fears and anxieties and help them to trust in your providence.

Father, we pray for all those who have suddenly lost their employment. We ask you to first to give them peace and a settled confidence.  Give them today, divine appointments with people who may be key in opening a new future for them. Give them hope, lighten their step, lift their anxiety from their body, give them sleep and unexpected joy. So for all those who have lost their job, bring them today one step closer to a new direction and help them to believe that you will open new doors for them.

Lord we want to place this difficult situation into Your hands today. Increase their faith in you Lord Jesus, believing in your Word where you have promised to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Thank You God for hearing and answering the cries of Your children, in Jesus name we pray, Amen

Lord we thank you for giving us so many prayer group members who are committed to our Thursday prayer meeting. We confess  that we have failed  to be committed to different Ministries,  cells  we are involved in , we ask you  to give us the grace  to be committed  to our calling, in whatever ministry  we are involved in , give us the strength  to always give our best. We also ask you to make us committed in our personal prayer and Word study. We are sorry for the times we have failed to do our personal prayer and read your word.  We know that through the power of the Holy Spirit we will be able to remain faithful and committed to our personal prayer, Reading the Word of God Thursday prayer meeting and different Ministries & Cells we are involved.

Almighty God, we thank you for the theme “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation”. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” We confess that we have become complacent and lukewarm and take your love for granted. Your word in Revelation 3:15 says that you know our deeds and that we are neither cold nor hot. And because you are lukewarm neither hot or cold– I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

We come before you with a repentant heart asking for your mercy and grace so that we are able to watch and pray constantly. Help us Lord to place you first in our lives and spend time in prayer so that we may be able to hear your voice. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and create within us a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within us.  We believe in your unfailing love for us. Help us to stand firm in our faith and be a living witness praising and glorifying you in all that we do.

Help us to watch and pray constantly   so that we may face the trials bravely and remain faithful   when tempted to give up the faith and disobey you.

Give us the grace to be habitually watching and praying for our families, our prayer group  our parish  and nations around the world.  

Father it is easy to become lazy and lethargic in spiritual things. Forgive us we have lost our edge and become complacent. But help us to live out the rest of our life watching and praying  living courageously and boldly for you so that on that day we might stand before the son of man without shame. Thank you for your forgiveness and the hope that you place before us to lead us on.

Almighty God, we lift up this intention to you believing that the construction of the Catechism Building will be completed in time according to your will and plan. We ask you Lord in a very special to make it possible for the Contractor to complete this project on time. We pray for the safety of each and every worker and that they remain in perfect health of mind, body and spirit. We believe Lord, for the completion of this project on time, timely resources are required, hence we place before you each and every parishioner, that you put a burden in their hearts to contribute generously towards this project for the Word of God tells us in  2 Corinthians 9:vs 7 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  Let each one of the Parishioners realize that, they it is their duty to contribute generously.

Allow our love for each other to be an example to other couples. May others seek to imitate our commitment to marriage and our dedication to God. And may others be inspired as they see the blessings we enjoy because of our faithfulness in marriage.

Let us always be a support to one another—a friend to listen and encourage, a refuge from the storm, a companion to lean on, and, most importantly, a warrior in prayer.

Lord Jesus your word in Luke 11:13 says if your earthly Father could give good things to eat, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.  Father we ask you to anoint us with the power of the Holy Spirit.  Fill us with your fruit and manifest your gifts among us.  Specially on those who do not have the gift of tongues.  We pray that they will receive the gift of tongue this Pentecost.  Anoint those who give teaching, so that there will be anointed teaching at our prayer meetings.  Let your anointing fall upon all of us so that we will serve you in more effective way.

Give us a hunger and thirst to receive your Word with eagerness.  We pray for your divine intervention in anointing each one of us. Set us apart and release your anointing that breaks every type of bondage in our lives.

Breathe your Holy spirit into the hearts and souls of all those who will be attending.  Burn us with the fire of your Love.  Fill us with a spirit of zeal and commitment to accept your son Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.  Transform our minds and equip us with the gifts and charisms of the Holy Spirit.

We pray for the team from Pota that you may use them mightily to bring about a revival in our parish. May those days be anointed and days of grace drawing us all back to you.

Lord you have said that you come to make all things new  we bring to you the cell groups of our community just like a body is made up of a multitude of cells and each cell has a very unique function to carry out for the growth of the body  we you for a fresh outpouring of your Holy Spirit to rejuvenate our cell groups and we lift up to you all the members who have joined the cells and those who have a desire to be a part of the cells we ask that you fill them with a deep desire and eagerness to be committed to the cell groups and thereby by a blessing to our community and the parish at large.

Heavenly Father, we lift up to you our Children’s Ministry leaders and their members. Let the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit be upon them, bless them with wisdom and discernment so that they will tend, nuture and guide the little Children and teenagers entrusted to their care. May they be blessed with enthusiasm and zeal to work in the Children’s Ministry with new and fresh ideas, so that the praise and worship and little activities or teaching becomes interesting to the children, so that they are drawn closer to Jesus. Use each one of them mightily for your greater glory.

We also lift up to you the Transport Ministry leader, you bless him and enable him to reach out to all people who are in need of transport.  Bless also all other members who in turn will help him to lend a helping hand by means of their cars to drop people back after the meeting, so that nobody will feel burdened to come for the meeting.

Help us to grow in our relationship with the Third Person of Your Holy Trinity and to live in His power and use His gifts. Help each one of us to imitate her virtues of Obedience, Humility and Service that she had in her life.  Just as Mother Mary treasured the Word of God in her heart, help us too to keep the Word of God in our Heart and to become the doers of the Word of God.

Strengthen our faith each day just like Mother Mary had immense faith in God and accepted the will of God in all her pains and sufferings, help each one of us to accept God’s will in our life as we go through life’s journey.

Abba Father, we lift up to you the young people from across the globe, whom you have drawn to celebrate the World Youth Day to be held in Poland from 25^th July to 1^st Aug. Gracious God, we thank you for the holidays we had to revive ourselves by spending more time with you and with our loved ones. By your grace, we had truly wonderful and refreshing holidays. Many of us were able to go to our native places and enjoy the bonds of love among families which strengthened our relationship. We thank you for taking care of us during each day of our leave, for protecting us and our loved ones  from all harm and danger. Thank you Lord for bringing us back safe and sound. Truly we were blessed  to have our vacation  when so many are not able to have their yearly leave for various reasons.  Master we are grateful to you, for your goodness.

Gracious God, we thank you for this beautiful country Oman where we earn our daily bread.  We thank you for the kind  and peace-loving people of this country.  In a special way, we thank you for the wise and benevolent ruler of this country.  On the occasion of this country  celebrating the Rannaisance Day,  we pray O Lord,  thy mighty protection upon the ruler  and every citizen of this country.  May they continue to enjoy your blessings  of peace, prosperity and unity.  May each of them continue to walk  in your ways each moment of their life.  For all their piety reward them  with the fullness of your truth, which alone sets everyone free.

Father God, we thank you for blessing the church with the Charismatic Renewal and this ongoing preparation for the ISAO conference in Bahrain We pray for unity in purpose for the ISAO committee and that you bless them with wisdom to discern what is your will for the Renewal in this region. Bless your chosen ones that they will attend in large numbers from 23 participating countries within the ISAO  region, and through  this conference may they receive abundant grace to serve the Church for your glory alone. Father God, bless every delegate with their travel requirement and good health. May all your faithful in Bahrain experience the joy of giving, by offering their homes to accommodate participants and their busy time for the fruitfulness of this conference. May this holy event receive adequate financial aid from all participating countries. Father God, we surrender this intention to you, for your Grace, Mercy and Blessings through your Son Jesus and the power of your Holy Spirit one God, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your grace and mercy which you so benevolently shower upon us. We are grateful for the numerous blessings we have received in many forms all through the past year. And now Father, many of our brethren will shortly go on annual holiday. All we ask is your wisdom to bless and profit them, your continued mercy and grace to keep them and your love to share on their every journey. Enable each brother & sister to return bles’t and refreshed because of your bountiful riches in Jesus our Lord.

We also pray dear Lord God, for our Parish Summer Camp: from June 27 to July 17 this year. Jesus, you said, “Let the little children come unto me, and do not dissuade them, for unto such is the Kingdom of Heaven”. Lord Holy Spirit, we ask you anoint every leader, planner, organizer, volunteer and also the resource teams – one of which will be our own MIPC Youth cell. Let your  anointing fall upon each one working for the Summer Camp so that their commitment will bear fruit in the lives of every precious child of this parish. Let each child participant come away this year having grown in some way and having had a touch of the Master’s hand in their life and that you Lord be glorified through it all.

Lord our God, we pray for the Spiritual life of all parishioners and clergy of our parish. You have set us apart Oh lord, to be your witnesses to your truth and to your love. Holy Spirit, lead into all truth all who seek God our Father. Steer away from oblivion those who lose sight of you and of the things of heaven. In your power remove all obstacles to spiritual growth - all distractions, extra comforts, lies of the devil to their minds, etc., Chisel away at unforgiveness, pride, selfishness, worry, doubt and fear. Grant us a deep desire for prayer and a hunger for your holy Word. Let love and unity take root in the hearts of each parishioner to the glory of our Father in heaven…………... "CHILDREN MINISTRY"

Father God,  we thank you for blessing us with a ‘Children Ministry’.  We pray that you continue to empower your chosen ones called to minister to our children.  Give them your constant encouragement  and guide them in their good work.  Enrich them with your word  and direct them to unique ways  in bringing your word to our children.  Make them effective witnesses to the Gospel  and a minister of your truth  to all our children whose lives they touch.  Father God,  fill the hearts of our children  with a desire to seek truth,  rejoice in hope,  be patient in tribulations  and constant in prayer.  Help them to do what is pleasing to you  and what is right and good in your sight.  Bless them with your grace to trust you always,  even with the small things in their lives.  Give them the Spirit of Learning  that they may please you by their thoughts  and love you in your creation.  

Father God,  we surrender this intention to you,  for your Grace, Mercy and Blessings  through your Son Jesus and the power of your Holy Spirit  one God, Amen.  

"PENTECOST - Let the Fire Fall"

Lord, we thank you  for giving  yourself  to us, in and through the  Holy Spirit,  during our  Baptism and other sacraments.  Lord, here we are, we need your fresh anointing.  Let thy fire fall again on the entire Church.  Let there be a fresh revival everywhere.  May every Christian experience your touch  all over again. 

Dear Holy Spirit, loving God, set our lives on fire so that we are no longer the same.  Let us be just like the apostles in the early church, filled with zeal for the Kingdom.  We invite you into our heart, mind and our entire life so that you can work in us all over again in a greater way.  Fill us with your fruit and gifts  so that we live as powerful witnesses of the Truth wherever we are placed.

O God our Heavenly Father, we come before you to in full belief of who you are. You Lord, are our loving Father and our just and merciful God. You have carved each of us on the palm of your hand - and you will never leave us or forsake us. You are Jehovah Rafah, the Lord who heals. We come to you in faith - in our illness, sickness, weakness and sin. Touch those of us and our brothers and sisters who are in urgent need of your healing. Make them brand new and restore them to health according to your will so that they may regain their strength to serve you better and reach others in need. You said O Lord; you longed to gather us under your wing as a mother hen gathers her chicks. We ask you Lord to draw all these members of the community unto you and we plead your most Precious Blood upon them - Your Blood which cleanses us and makes us whole. You word in Isaiah 53:4 says, “By His stripes we are healed”. And we claim this word for a total healing for us and our infirm brothers and sisters.
